Build your GRE study plan around a clear baseline, guided practice and useful feedback. Work through the subjects below, review your mistakes and return to a timed test when you are ready.
Original fixed-form GRE-style practice: 54 independently reviewed objective questions and one saved essay, with real data charts and step-by-step review. Final corpus review edition 7. Raw practice feedback only; no official score prediction.
Start with the default section countdowns for this practice format. Custom pacing lets you shorten or extend section times when working on speed, and your report identifies adjusted timing. Check the exam administrator’s current guidance for official test-day requirements.

GRE subjects and lesson topics
Lessons combine a worked example, guided exploration and checked exercises. Required steps must be completed before a lesson counts toward your progress. These are available study topics, not a guarantee of official exam coverage or a score increase.
Quantitative Reasoning
Quantitative comparison
A comparison must hold for every allowed case. Use restrictions, invariant differences and counterexamples before long calculations.
Algebra and functions
Model unknowns, preserve domain restrictions, and interpret what the question actually asks rather than stopping at the first root.
Ratios and rates
Build a unit-consistent model. Percent changes multiply, mixtures conserve quantities, and simultaneous workers add rates rather than times.
Geometry
Use stated geometric constraints to connect lengths, areas and volumes. Similarity scales different dimensions by different powers.
Data analysis
Read denominators, categories and units before calculating. Averages and percentages must reflect the populations they summarize.

Verbal Reasoning
Reading comprehension
Separate what a passage states from what it suggests. Preserve the author’s qualifications, population and level of certainty when evaluating answers.
Critical reasoning
Identify the evidence-to-conclusion gap. Strengthen, weaken and evaluate questions require different operations on that same gap.
Text completion
Predict a meaning from the logical structure before shopping among words. Contrast, definition, cause and concession clues constrain different parts of a sentence.
Sentence equivalence
Choose exactly two words that both fit and yield equivalent completed meanings. A synonym pair can be an intentional trap if it contradicts the context.
Multi-blank logic
Solve the easiest constrained blank first, then propagate the logic across the passage. Each blank has its own choices; a fluent fragment cannot rescue an incoherent whole.

Analytical Writing
Analyze an Issue
Build a defensible position, develop reasons and address a genuine objection. This workshop assesses writing decisions, not an automated essay score.
