2) When should I start preparing for the New SAT?

A) There's no better time than now! The first new format SAT will be offered March 12th, 2005. Our New SAT Prep Classes run for 6 or 10 weeks, and end the day before the SAT exam date.

Of course, preparing for the SAT is helped by learning high school curriculum. The math section will now include Algebra II and basic Trigonometry, so challenge yourself and take more difficult math classes in school. The critical reading and writing sections will challenge you to write and read well, use proper grammar, and will also test your vocabulary. Because vocabulary is best learned over a long period of time, start studying now! Simply click on the "Contact Us" page and enter your information. We will send you an email or call to give you some helpful advice on how to begin preparing now!

3) Why is the SAT changing?

A) The SAT is changing because the new version will more accurately test your knowledge of the high school curriculum.

The added writing section mirrors the SAT II Writing test, which is required by most colleges for admission. The test will now reflect increased emphasis on writing and language skills. The colleges to which you apply will be able to view your essay from the writing section.
